women at every stage of life, backed by state-of-the-art facilities and a highly skilled multidisciplinary

treatments for adolescents and senior women, ensuring health and well-being across the entire lifespan.
The department is equipped to address all facets of women’s health with 24/7 emergency services, fully
equipped labor and delivery units, and round-the-clock operation theatres. With an experienced team of
doctors and healthcare professionals, the department is recognized as a leading provider of women’s
healthcare in the region. Services include high-risk obstetric care, infertility treatments, routine obstetrics,
reproductive endocrinology, gynaecological oncology, urogynecology, fetal medicine, and the
comprehensive diagnosis and management of gynaecological disorders.
Regular antenatal care is provided with a special emphasis on high-risk pregnancies. Close collaboration
with pediatricians supports care for adolescent girls, and a well-equipped blood bank supports obstetric
emergencies. Painless labor options including epidural analgesia and Entonox are available under the
care of experienced anesthetists, and the neonatology team ensures safe delivery and immediate care for
newborns.
For gynaecological and fertility concerns, advanced minimally invasive “keyhole” surgeries and
urogynecological services are offered for women with urinary incontinence. Family welfare services are
comprehensive, encompassing counseling, sterilization (both open and laparoscopic), IUCD insertion,
tubal cannulation, and tubal microsurgery. Menopause management focusing on endocrine health and
oncological screening is also provided. Oncology services include cervical cancer screening (Pap smears
and colposcopy), as well as detection and treatment of endometrial, ovarian, and vulval cancers.
The department is equipped with well-organized labor rooms, an Obstetrics ICU, an Eclampsia Labor
Room, and a Septic Labor Room for managing various obstetric emergencies. Specialized surgeries
including laparoscopic tubal reconstruction and Wertheim’s operation are regularly performed. Specialty
clinics are available for infertility, cancer screening, high-risk pregnancies, maternal and child health
(MCH), and gynaecological endocrinology.
The department offers an MS in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and is staffed by experienced professors,
associate and assistant professors, resident doctors, and highly trained nursing staff, providing
round-the-clock care in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Faculty members are well-trained, highly
motivated, and actively engaged in patient care, teaching, research, and leadership roles.
