Casualty

The Casualty Department functions round the clock, delivering prompt and efficient emergency care. Each shift is managed by a dedicated team of 4 doctors and 10 nurses, ensuring immediate medical attention at all times. In addition, senior specialists from various departments are available on call for advanced interventions.

The department is equipped with 30 casualty beds and supported by comprehensive life-saving infrastructure, including central oxygen and suction systems, defibrillators, pulse oximeters, Ambu bags, disaster management trolley, crash carts, and a 60 mA X-ray unit.

A fully equipped Emergency Operation Theatre is strategically located within the casualty area, featuring advanced anaesthesia, resuscitation, and surgical equipment to handle critical procedures without delay.

For seamless patient management, the Radiology Department and Labour Room are located adjacent to the Casualty, enabling rapid diagnostics and coordinated care. Emergency cases are promptly assessed, stabilized, and, when required, transferred to the respective specialty departments for further treatment. Medico-legal cases are also efficiently managed as per statutory protocols.

The institution operates two fully equipped ambulances to support emergency transport and critical care services.
